Friar Jack Wintz and I just returned to Serra Retreat Center, in Malibu, after my interview with Roma Downey, best known for her role some years ago as Monica in CBS?s Touched by an Angel. We went to her home not far from here, where she and mega-producer Mark Burnett raise their family. She?s working now on an educational series for young children, using angels to help give lessons on the ABCs etc. Little Angel, it will be called, and will be out later this year. Too bad we couldn?t take photos of the three of us looking together at a trailer for the series! What a spot?waves crashing down the hill, radiant heat from the ceiling heaters so we could sit outside, a nice cup of Irish tea?need I continue? This on the heels of Jack?s interview with Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez about their forthcoming film The Way yesterday. More on that later?it was fantastic! Tomorrow we fly home, agreeing, it was a good week!
