HHT Foundation International - This ailment is prevalent among many Americans who do not even know they have it.  It can be deadly.  Two of my boys have this and one of them would probably have died if not discovered before an operation.  Having your oxygen levels tested is one of the best ways to see if you have this problem. Please read and educate yourself because this symptom is a hidden enemy that can disguise itself in other forms.  Many doctors are not informed enough on this disease so when you go for a check up it is never mentioned.  My one son most likely would have died in his later teen years if never found.  Before an operation you are connected to an oxygen reading and my sons was 85 which means he was way below the standard of 95-100.  This raised a red flag among the doctors and he was immediately transferred to a different hospital.  I later found out if he never had his oxygen levels tested he was a walking time bomb. 

Families of September 11 - A tremendous charity that is working hard to help the families who still suffer from that day.  Many want to put this day behind us but there are still thousands of children who are growing up without a mother or father; spouses who lost their significant other are struggling with large families trying to make a living and many others who worked at the site have since died or become sick with breathing and lung disorders.  We can never forget so lets continue to help.

Smile Train - Millions of children born with this disfigurement that can easily be fixed with a 45 minute surgery.  But for many around the world, access to Doctors and hospitals are not an option; so children grow up being shuned and outcast from school and their communities.  Lets put a smile back on these children.
